Several years ago I was traveling through North Dakota on a hunting trip to Montana. In Bismarck, ND, I saw a large sign saying:

On my way to Columbus, OH we passed a road sign in Kentucky for "Big Bone Lick State Park". I couldn't talk my friend into pulling over so that I could get a picture.

Two signs from my home town:

A roofing company: "Above all, a good roof"

And an antiques shop: "We buy junk and sell antiques"

I once worked at a school for physically and mentally "challenged" kids. I always cringed at the unintentional humor (or cruelty) of the standard-issue traffic sign reading "Slow Children" right before our driveway.

Regards,

Joe

I was emailed a picture of a billboard that said:

"Sofa King! Our prices are Sofa King low!"

That one (although hosted elsewhere in your post) is one of the ones included in the Roadtrip America collection I referenced in Post #16 above.

That sign cracked me up, Rob - it almost makes me want to go to North Vancouver, just to see this sign. With my dog.
