have a friend that is wanting to sell his Yamaha RXV992. I'm not too familiar with Yamaha, and didn't turn any 992's up with a search,....Any interest in this machine, and what they would be selling for?

The 992 was one of Yamaha's first DD receivers. A very good one too. It does not have DTS. I had one in my system for a few years and was very happy with it. It would make a good second zone receiver or game system receiver. Here is a link for a review for one. Yamaha 992
