Due to my impending divorce and move, I'm forced to relinquish my beloved Sony VPL-W400Q LCD projector and DaLite 45x80 (16x9) retractable screen. [IMG]
But! My loss is your gain! [IMG]
I'm currently the second owner of the projector. I purchased it in June of 2000 with a full 3-year warranty. 15 months remain on the warranty. It was sent in to the Sony Norcross Service Center last July for a cleaning and replacement of the blue deflector plate. The current, original bulb has 949 hours on it. Although supposedly rated to 3000, the bulb generally needs replacing at 1000-1500 hours, depending on what you like. It's still plenty bright to me, and looks great!
My price: $1200 for the projector, $100 for the screen (prices do not include shipping). Or, buy the pair for $1250 (plus shipping).
If you have any questions, please let me know! If you live in the Omaha area and would like to see it in action, I can give a demo.

    Joel,
Someone just tried to sell their 400 on eBay and got $1700 for it, although it didn't meet their reserve. Perhaps you can contact the high bidder on that 400 and sell him yours. I've done that a couple of times on auctions where the winning bid didn't meet the reserve and the seller didn't sell to the high bidder, who obviously wanted the product.
here is the link on ebay for you

Joel, if you don't mind, could you let me know what you sold your 400 for (PM or email is fine if you don't want to put it here). I have a 400 and am thinking of upgrading...

    Thanks,

    Paul

Okay, fine. One last attempt to get this into the hands of an HTFer looking for a good starter FPTV setup. (That and one more chance to avoid the hassles of eBay)
Prices adjusted. (Last time! I mean it! [IMG] )
