    Sherwood Newcastle AVP-9080R preamp/processor[/b]
Asking $360 + shipping (original list price $1200) (PENDING!)
This is a great 5.1-channel preamp/processor with a very good 5.1-channel analog direct input. Also has
built in AC-3 RF input for laserdisc use, phono input, and the rest of the "usual" features. Dolby Digital, DTS,
Dolby Pro-Logic, on-screen display, universal remote, etc.
Original box, manual, and remote are included. The unit is in mint condition with no cosmetic defects. Please email me with any questions!

    Thanks, Brian.

Still available. This would be an excellent piece for someone looking to move into separates for the first time. DTS, Dolby Digital, clean analog passthrough/bypass on all analog inputs, etc. And at about 1/3 of what it cost me when new, a good deal too!

Yes, this is an amazing deal. I still wouldn't part with mine. I wouldn't be surprised if it sounds as good or almost as good as the Outlaw.

Interested, and local, but can't afford it...unless you're interested in a Harman Kardon AVR55 or Sherwood RD-7103 in trade towards covering some of the price. The HK has no box, but the Sherwood is only 8months old and has box and everything...
Send me email at [email protected] maybe we can work something out...

Sorry, but I picked up a Sherwood receiver for my basement system a couple months ago -- otherwise I would have been interested in your offer.

I've been holding off putting the AVP-9080R on eBay, since I'd prefer to sell it here if possible. But although a couple others have sold AVP-9080Rs through this forum in the meantime, mine has sat here with few nibbles. Odd. I'll probably wait a few more days, but then will finally give up and head to eBay.

I'll bump this too - can't believe this hasn't been snatched up. A GREAT preamp - I absolutely will never part with mine! Wish I had some extra cash, I'd pick it up as a spare.

    Thanks for the bump.
I do believe that I've sold the AVP-9080R. Just awaiting receipt of the payment. I'll update the thread again if the deal falls through.
I'll probably eventually regret selling the AVP-9080R, instead of using it in my basement system in place of the Sherwood RVD-8090R reciever that's currently set up there. But if I did do that, then I wouldn't be able to concoct any excuse to buy new equipment for that system in a couple years! [IMG]
