Have a mint condition CLD-97. Bought as a back up unit it was used once when I purchased it to make sure it works. It is both machanical and physical in perfect condition. Comes with remote. I do not have the manual. Don't really need it as a back up anymore so I figured I sell it. First offer over $500 takes it. I will split shipping with the winner so figure another $15 will be added to your offer. I accept Paypal (preferred) or money orders only. Will ship within the U.S. and Canada only. Any questions please ask.

    Thanks,
    Bill

Any chance it has been upgraded for AC-3 output?? (just curious). This is an awesome unit!! If it has not been upgraded, have the buyer send me an email and I will get them in touch with a friend that does the modification for cheap (if I remember correct, $100).

    Best wishes!!

    Bill Otten,

I'm also curious, does your CLD-97 have an AC-3 RF out? Also does this unit have adjustments for picture quality? I currently have a laserdisc player, a DVL-919 which works great but it's picture quality leaves a bit to be desired. An older CLD-D704 actually looked a lot better(it finally died on me so I no longer use it). I may be interested in the CLD-97.
