FS: Parasound 2205A Amp (1 Viewer)

This is the perfect home theater amp and considered by most to be the best sounding of the bunch. I've owned this one for a year and is as perfect as the day in went into the rack. I love the Parasound sound but need to sell this as I actually own 3 Parasound amps and just got a Pioneer 49TX that for now will power the rear channels. I have the original double boxes and everthing as new. I will sell this for $1250 plus shipping. Keep in mind it will weigh almost 100 pounds when boxed!! So shipping via FedEx Ground could be $50 or $60. PayPal or MO only, PayPal preferred with no extra fee.

Had a HCA 3500,but the current darling is the HCA 2200 MKII, which I think sounds better than the 3500. I also have a single 1500a.

Your Elite 49tx driving rears, 2200II on mains, and 1500A on center (and one sub?) is just about the purfect combo!

I think you'll love it! It's driving some Studio 100's v2 right now and they really sing! LMK when you get it set-up. My sub amp is a Samson 700 driving a SVS 20-39+ so the 1500 will be bridged for the center duty alone.

The 1500A is already 205 watts, I think it might sound better unbridged than bridged for your center (one open channel just means more reserves). And fyi, someone is looking for this amp in the Receivers/Separates forum.
