Looking to find a good home for a gently used Paradigm PDR-10 sub. It has a relatively loud hum, which I believe is a bad capacitor (or two) in the power supply and probably represents a cheap 'n' easy fix for someone with the right skill set. Newer ones are going for $300 including shipping on eBay & Audiogon; I'll part with for $150 *including* shipping to anywhere in the Lower 48. Please e-mail if interested.
Some relevant information:
-Purchased used in 2000, model is 1998 I think
-Condition is 8/10, with two very small (1/8"), barely noticeable nicks in the black ash vinyl finish.
-Was used in an upstairs home theater/play room which saw about 10-15% of the use of our downstairs family room
-I have added brass cones from Audio Concepts, which tightened the bass a little
-I have the original manual but not the box; however, I moved recently and have lots of quality packing material so the sub would be well packaged
