I've recently upgraded to an AE900, so I'm selling my trusty L300U.

I've had it since April 2003, bought it from Visual Apex. It has performed flawlessly...not a single issue. It is cosmetically and functionally like new. No dead or stuck pixels, no vertical banding, and no panel misalignment.

It has been used in the low lamp setting, since day one, thus extending lamp life. It has only 327 hours on the original bulb.

I bought a 4 year extended warranty when I originally purchased the unit, and this is good through April 2007. This warranty IS transferrable.

It will come in the original box, with carrying case, remote, power cable, AV cable, owners manual, and proof of extended warranty (through Phillips).

For those that haven't heard of this great 16:9 widescreen projector, here are some details:

The L300U features three 0.7" native widescreen LCD panels in 960x540 resolution. This is the "1/4 HD" format, so called because the native HDTV 1080i signal of 1920x1080 can be compressed exactly 50% in both the horizontal and vertical dimensions. The advantage is that it yields a particularly clean scaling of HDTV.

It is rated at 800 ANSI lumens of brightness and 800:1 contrast. Lamp life in full power mode is 2000 hours, but in low power mode (the preferred way to run it), Panasonic states that you will get up to 5,000 hours.

It takes 525i (480i), 625i, 525p (480p), 750p (720p), 1125i (1080i). Color systems include NTSC, NTSC 4.43, PAL, PAL-M, PAL-N, PAL60, and SECAM.

It throws a great picture and would be an IDEAL first projector for someone with a light controlled environment.

Asking $500 plus actual cost of shipping (negotiable).

Thanks for looking :)

You are a cruel, cruel person! :) This is exactly the kind of projector I want but have no money and no room....shouldn't last long.
