Marantz SR8200 THX Select 6.1 AV Receiver - $750 plus shipping


I bought this unit about 3 years ago, and it has been operated in a clean smoke-free environment, and lightly used. It is in pristine shape, and includes the LCD backlit learning RC3200 remote, which itself is a $200+ value. The SR8200 sold originally for about $1700, and is THX Select certified.

The remote shows some minor wear, with some nearly imperceptable scratches on the back, but is not damaged or blemished, nor shows any wear on the front. I would rate both the remote and receiver a 9/10.

We've really enjoyed this receiver, but are moving cross-country, and are liquidating our entire AV system.

Although the unit has been surpassed 'numerically' by Marantz's recent model numbers, many feel that these 8x00 models from just a few years ago are actually stronger audio performers than the recent models. I can attest that this unit has excellent sonic qualities, is comparable with some of the best separates in music reproduction, and it's surround performance is top-notch as well.
