    This is a DP-870U.

I will say there is ONE Scratch about 1/8" long on the top

towards the back. This is in almost perfect condition.

If you have a laserdisc player this has the demodulator.

Unit has 3 AC-3 Inputs 1 RF/AC-3 input for laserdisc player, 1 PCM/AC-3 COAX input for DVD, and 1 PCM/OPTICAL (Toslink)input for DSS etc. Features DSP bitstream D/A conversion, channel level and balance controls, speaker configuration switches, 5.1 multichannel inputs/outputs.

This also has the bypass mode.

One of the best ever made.

Price is $185. shipped within the 48 states via Fedex ground/home. Paypal is the preferred payment method.

I have 145+ paypal transaction and my ebay user name is

    cyber16.

    Regards,

    Jerry

The DP-870U is a standalone Dolby Digital surround demodulator/decoder. It accepts the Dolby Digital Surround RF output from a laserdisc player or a direct Dolby Digital output from sources such as DVD players and satellite receiver/decoders. It demodulates and decodes the compressed bitstream signal, and provides discrete analog outputs to an A/V receiver with Dolby Digital inputs. The Dolby Digital format provides five discrete channels of full-bandwidth surround sound in addition to a discrete subwoofer channel. The result is superior channel separation, wide frequency response, and dramatically enhanced Surround Sound performance.

Zoran DSP Dolby Digital decoder chip and bitstream D/A conversion for superb Surround Sound performance and wide dynamic range.

    Channel level and balance controls.

Mode switches allow matching output to any speaker system configuration (full 5.1 channel srround; left/center/right only, etc.)

Multi-channel inputs allow connection between an A/V system's existing Dolby Pro Logic and/or THX processor and power amplifiers without interfering with normal system operation

    Master volume control.
