- Has two Firewire IEEE-1394 ports for recording to and from a D-VHS deck (great for using as a PVR for favorite movies recorded onto D-VHS; will not record D-Theater movies though)
- Has component, RGBHV (VGA), and DVI outputs
- Built in over the air tuner
- Will also pass through or record SD from analog inputs (S-Video, Composite)
- Will record SD from over the air
