I bought the Kenwood HTiB about 2 years ago and it has served me very well. The system consists of the following -
- VR-507 receiver
DD/DTS/DPL II/Circle Surround decoding/Cinema EQ
S-Video switching with 4 S-Video inputs
100W x 5
- Universal remote (its one of the best remotes I've used!)
- 2 front, 2 surround, 1 center speaker
- the sub was damaged by a stupid friend while moving. I have an old Aiwa sub which I will throw in (not as good but it does work)
The speakers are really nothing to write home about, but they will do the job. The receiver is the real reason I bought this system.

At the time I bought it, this particular model was widely regarded on HTF as the best bang for the buck and offering an easy upgrade path. It has certainly proved to be that.
I just moveds into a bigger place and have decided to upgrade to 6.1, hence the need for a new system.
I paid $400 at Sears for this. I don't really know what its worth now. Asking for $175.
All reasonable offers will be considered and I prefer someone local (Bay Area).
(I haven't sold anything here before, so have no refs)
