Actually i think it is german made.Its a pro grade amo that SVS initially sold with its passive subs

Just thought I'd pass this on to anyone on the fence about this great deal.

I still have my Fidek. It's powering a pair of 15's in the basement effortlessly. The only reason that it's not used with my SVS's is I got a great deal on a Parasound. This Fidek is an incredible amp. With the fan fix it's even better. For a year and a half it drove my pair of SVS 20-39s all day long and the subs bottomed out before the amps clip light ever came on. For $150 you *won't* find a better pro-amp.

If I didn't have to deal with my wife grilling me why I need another amp, I'd buy this and keep it as a spare.
