This is an outstanding scaler for 7" or 8" CRTs. It retails for $8,000, and I will sell it for $3500 plus shipping. It is in outstanding condition, and has been fully checked out (at my expense) by Faroudja/Vidikron. This unit is branded the Vidikron 2500, and also has a Faroudja brand on it, but is exactly the same unit as Faroudja sells as the 2200. I cannot describe the improvement in your picture over no scaler or a lesser unit that a Faroudja will bring you.
I have replaced this unit with a higher end Faroudja at a huge cost because I own a high end CRT that needs the more advanced scaler. You can take advantage of this situation and get into a Faroudja at less than half price.
The unit is in its original box, and comes with a remote and manual.
