Hi,

Today I am offering up for sale my brand-new-still-sealed-in-a-box Denon DVD-1600 model progressive scan DVD-V/A player.

For those that follow A/V products you know that this model is ranked as one of the very best 480p models ever produced. It has the highest score in the respected "Secrets of Home Theater" shoot-out review with the top score of a 91. See link here. It's tied for top honors with another Denon player that costs $2,000 (!) All the other models at the top spot (Panasonic RP-82/XP-30) share the same features as this Denon and are discontinued and commanding premiums on Ebay.

You can also read a full review of this player here.

To sum up, this player is what most consider the absolute best offered because of:

A) Uses Panasonic's chroma-bug free MN67753IKA MPEG decoder

B) Uses the industry best Faroudja FLI2200 deinterlacing for outstanding film and video performance

C) Plays back DVD-Audio discs with hi-resolution Burr Brown 24bit/192K audio DACs

D) Has great video measurements i.e. frequency response, chroma delay, etc.

Anyways, all that typing for maybe nothing as many will know of this player's performance and status. Unfortunately, this model was recently discontinued and it's replacements are more expensive and don't offer the same level of performance.

I am offering this unit factory sealed, not a refurbished product. I bought it brand new 3 months ago for a secondary system that is not going to be completed. As a result, I'm offering it for sale for the price I paid, $329 US. Buyer to pay shipping.

There have been no new, sealed examples of this player offered on Ebay or other sites for sometime. Even factory refurbished models get $300+, and used ones get close to that often.

Here's your chance to get one of the few remaining sealed ones at a great price. Original store retail was $500. Check my Ebay feedback as "frayed.ends". I have 57+ positive feedbacks, 100%!
