For sale is a B&W ASW1000 that was purchased as soon as the sub was
introduced.
Why point this out? Well, if you're a subwoofer geek like me you'd know
that floating around the forums is the
Nousaine list, and the B&W ASW1000 was tested twice. The 1st time it's performance was
great and the second time it was barely average. It seems that B&W might
have downgraded the sub without mentioning it to the consumer. Find it on the list and put your mouse over the note to the right of the name.
The cabinet has nicks and scratches and some of the pegs that hold the grill on
have broken(it still stays on though) but it works and sounds great. I want to be
upfront about the condition so I have pictures from different angles. I ask for
local area pick up only so the buyer can inspect it.
This sub retailed for $1k, I know of the value from the internet direct
brands so I priced the sub accordingly.
Asking $350
Asking $250
Going by the Nousaine list, the performance of this sub is on par with the Outlaw LFM-1 for less than half the price!
