I have a silver Ref 50 that is less than 2 months old. All original boxes, manuals and set up disc. This unit does not have a whine that I can hear at all unless you max the volume out without a source on an input. It is flawless and will make someone very happy. I will sell outright for $2100 obo inlcuding shipping in the US or consider trades for a Lexicon MC-1/DC-2 and cash (I just miss Logic 7 too much).
