Does this thing have bass management? I hear it does not.
Also, did you buy from authorized B&K dealer and is warranty transferable?

Hello Joe,
Just helping you out with this B&K.
Some cut and paste from here and AVS.
Matt,
The B&K has some of the best bass management around.
Just make a search on B&K or the Ref 30,
These two share much the same,
You can even use the B&K software suite within windows to make and save all your settings.
Not many Pre-Pro's or receivers offer some of the perks of the B&K.
It gives you slope selection of 6 or 12db/octave on high pass and 12 or 24db/octave on low pass. X=over points are selectable in 5hz increments from 20-200hz.
The B&K has a unique "preset" driven architecture that allows the user to program up to 40 preset settings for each of the two zones of every option in the pre/pro.
In a "normal" unit, a preset would usually control:
1. The tuner band (FM)
2. The tuner setting (ie, 100.3)
3. The stereo setting (mono/stereo)
In the B&K, a preset can contain just about every possible setting the B&K offers, including:
1. The source (CD, DVD, SAT, Tuner, etc.)
2. The volume
3. The surround mode
4. The number of speakers
5. The default level of speakers
6. EQ Setting
7. Rec loop source
and more...
So, you can have 40/80 custom settings that your B&K can directly go to with a press of a button. Very convenient and very universal remote friendly (good for macros, etc).
Also MADE IN THE USA!:emoji_thumbsup:

Matt,
My turn to add on to Jerry's post (thanks Jerry!!). Yes, I purchased this unit from an authorized dealer (one of the largest B&K dealers in the country) and yes, the remainder of 5 year warranty (4 1/2 years left)will be transfered to you. I am upgrading through my dealer, so he will handle the financial part of the transaction. This way I can use the money towards my upgrade and you can have the security of dealing with an authorized B&K dealer. You can also pay by Visa or Mastercard, and not have to worry about the transaction.

No thanks, I already have a couch the the wife picked out so I have zero chance of changing the seating. Cash, Visa, MasterCard or PayPal (if that is all you have to use).

Sorry for any confusion. The current price for the B&K AVR307 is $1,999 plus shipping. Remember, this is almost HALF of the MSRP.

"I just dropped the price once more"

ilyak,
Thanks for the offer, but I need the money to pay for my upgrade, I already have a projector.
