Selling my old CPU, an AMD Athlon 1.4GHz "Thunderbird". This is a retail boxed CPU with AMD approved Heatsink/Fan unit. The 3-year warranty should still be good on it. Works great. Also comes with a tube of silver thermal grease.

Just a suggestion..post this at AMDMB.COM...it'll go a lot quicker...also post the FSB speed and the stepping.

It's a 266 FSB, but I'm having a hard time making out the stepping. It's obscured by the thermal grease. Anyone know of a good way to cut through it? I've been trying to wipe it off, but not having much success...
