Front Speakers w/ Sub woofers (1 Viewer)

My hometheater in progress already has two sub-woofers and I am thinking of buying two new tower front speakers that have built in powered subwoofers. Does this seem like over-kill? The speakers I am looking at getting are about $100 cheaper per pair for the model without the built in subs.

depends on your system. Sometimes, like on trains or airplanes, there is too much bass and I can't really hear what the actors are saying.
