Front Speaker Placement (1 Viewer)

I am going to prewire a house I am having built for surround sound 7.1. I was wondering where I should place to front speakers. I am going to use in wall speakers for the left and right. How far apart should these be placed and how far up from the floor?

The sitting position will be about 10 to 12 feet from the front speaker wall.

You'll want the tweeter of the speaker at, or just above, ear-level when you're seated. Another consideration is how they will line up with the center channel speaker. Ideally these will all be the same height.
