Just set up my first Front Projector. (SP5000..yes, i already heard I could have done better but ignorance is bliss and I'm happy with the final product) but, I'm interested in opinions for watching everyday TV.

I am going to upgrade to a Dish HD satellite and was wondering if it is more cost effective to view standard TV shows with the projector or go ahead and invest in some sort or 50" LCD or Plasma TV for my everyday viewing? I have heard that bulb replacement is costly, not sure of the 5000's cost yet, so I'm curious if anyone has figured overall costs/benifits to setting up one way or the other? Costco has a 50" Plasma for about 2700 right now. Not sure if bulb costs (and any other associated costs) would offset the price and if there is a distinct advantage to 95" vs 50" viewing of regular TV programming. Any feedback would be greatly appreciated. Tks.
