Hi, im ina bit of a dilemma, i waited to long to ask this question...
I am in the process of refinishing my basement and they are putting the side dry wall tomorrow so help before then would be extremely appreciated

I dont have speakers or a projector yet, but i plan on having a very decent setup down there (5000$ total) over a little period of time. I dont need help with what speakers and such, that will come later, but my problem is this:

I will have a rear projector that projects onto a screen, and either 5.1 or 7.1 speakers, both of which have a front center speaker

Where do I put the output cable for this speaker???
I dont think I'll have it under the projection screen, behind is not really an option as I think it will degrade the sound, but above will look really weird, what are some of the solutions some of you other users have come up with???

    thanks for any help,
    It is really appreciated

    Daniel

If you're willing to spend a little extra you can buy a projector screen that is supposedly acoustically transparent (like a speaker grill). I have no experience using these, but I know they exist, so it's something to look into.
