Front and Rear the Same? (1 Viewer)

I have seen some "3 Piece Speaker" sets for sale and they are described as a "center" and 2 "rear satellites". Can those rear speakers be used as front speakers? Does it matter that they are rear speakers even if I hook them up as front speakers?

Well, actually, you WANT your front 3 speakers to sound as similar as possible. My front 3 are identical for this reason. Speakers are speakers, they don't care where they are located. What you may have issue with is the fact that, in a set like this, these "surround" speakers may not give you the best results as main speakers.
