From Parasound 2205a to Classe CAV-150. Is this a huge step up?

I am very satisfied with the 2205a just wondering, is the Classe 150 that much of an upgrade over the Parasound?

    Thanks,

    Steve,
I'm not sure a 6 channel amp can be deemed an "upgrade" if you know what I mean. Would you get a Classe CA150/CA200 2 channel too to complement the CAV150 (which also means dumping the Parasound 2003 220x3 driving your front 3)? Go Classe if you think the sound is more refined or musical. But don't do it because it is supposed to double-down into 4 ohms, because the CAV doesn't, the 2 channel amps don't, the monoblocks don't. In fact, IMO the "doubling down" is just marketing:

So I guess you have enough funds to keep the MC1 and add either the Sony TAP or a tube preamp [IMG]
