Just a heads up, Amazon canceled my preorder of this.

Amazon is doing some funky stuff with these studios as other companies still have this on pre-order.

Great news that this is getting a wider Blu release. Fright Night '85 is one of my favorite horror films, and the comedic elements do really fit the movie. Also like the obvious homage(s) to one of my favorite Hitch films, Rear Window.

And, though the 2011 re-make is mildly entertaining, it doesn't hold a candle to this '85 original.

Now we need a US blu-ray of Fright Night - Part II.

Agreed. I saw FN II a while back, and it was a great film - though the print was sub-par. IIRC, the DVD is long OOP. So, I would definitely like to see a Blu release, given that this is very well-done & a good successor to the original.
