Apparently an upcoming episode (my source says it was due to be aired in the USA on Oct 11th) of Friends has had to be completely scrapped in the wake of the WTC attack. The major part of the plot concerned Monica and Chandler at an airport, the jokes revolving around Monica being so obsessive that they arrived at the airport a couple of hours early...

It's no longer "funny" to be at the airport several hours early. It's required...

Get your story straight, it wasn't an entire episode, it was a subplot that was a few minutes of an episode. (Hopefully by the time they get around to putting the complete series on DVD enough time will elapse that they can put this footage back).
I watched my Best of Friends DVDs this weekend and there was a shot of the WTC in every episode. It's going to be ridiculous if Hollywood tries to erase all memory/references to the WTC. TV Guide reported today:
"A classic rerun of The Simpsons in which the family visits the Twin Towers has been pulled from syndication."
