Friend's 73-inch Mitsubishi shutting itself off. (1 Viewer)

howdy all,have a friend with a mitsubishi 73".here's the problem.tv is now about 1 yr old.at 1st,it would shut itself off when running picture from the sat receiver only.didnt happen often,so not a big problem.Now,it shuts itself off when viewing from any source,plus,it happens much more often.
btw,sat and other receivers are getting ac from wall,not from tv.So,i have no answers.hope u guys can help.

call a service tech, odds are there was a defect that has just gotten worse with time. not much you can do about it, could be a cold solder.

Thanks for the advice,will have my friend call local tech out.Good thing its still under extended service.

Yeah, this could be a lot of things. Sounds as if something is tripping the set's safety shut-off, which could be just about anything.
