I believe HT now has a new bass champion. I watched the screener for 'The Incredibles' and I was _BLOWN_AWAY_ by the INSANE levels of bass in this movie. I don't want to give away any spoilers but wow! Ming, if you get a chance to chart this please do!

I will be doing one for Resident Evil 2, AVP, incredibles and sky captain.

It will take some time as I foresee myself a bit tied up for the next 4 weeks, but will not dissappoint. Stay tuned.

MingL, about the Incredibles: the rocket launch in the volcano is probably the most impressive of the lot. I have yet to find a scene in ANY movie to top that one SPL-wise, really. [IMG]

I don't have incredibles yet, but as soon as I get hold of it, plots are only a matter of time. [IMG]

Ming, the grudge should be added as well, in particular the scene where the man who hung himself is knocking against the wall. defineately up there in terms of SPL.

Ming, not too sure if you own the Day after Tomorrow. If you have time could you graph the part where the water is building up and coming towards New York? I got my BFD after I had rented this. I have been hearing about some who say that there is an enormous amount of infrasonic signal during that short sequence.

Hmmmm, that scenes appears to be quite popular as a test scene. I will try to do that too.

How's about Flight of the Phoenix. The plain crash scene is loud and long.

I was just going to post this. I believe there is a lot of sub 20hz stuff going on in that sequence.

Ilkka, great charts! Thanks for posting them.

Wow! I watched my "The Incredibles" DVD on Tuesday night, but it was late at night and I had to turn "Night Mode" on. I'll have to give this one another whirl sometime when I have the house to myself!
