I found this cool measurement tool, and have been playing with it for a couple of days. Room EQ Wizard I've hooked up my Radio Shack SPL meter to the laptop, and took some measurements. Revel M20 http://static.flickr.com/53/10909238...40904e.jpg?v=0 Celestion AVP + Velodyne CHT http://static.flickr.com/43/10909238...742beb.jpg?v=0 The graphs look like they are begging for some room treatment. Both graphs show pronounced bump at 100Hz, and another one near 180 - 200Hz. The upper end drops off at 8KHz. Maybe that's caused by the limitation of the soundcard. As evidenced by the graphs, the sonic signatures are pretty similar between two systems. A bit of irony as Celestions costed me about 15% of Revels.
