I am currently in the market for a new vehicle & I stumbled upon this offer in today's newspaper & I went to test drive a new Kia (never have before or done research on them) & they gave me a certificate for a free Shrek 2 DVD at this following site. I already submitted mine in & they ship it on November 5 & says it that you will recieve it from 1 to 2 weeks.

Check it out.

How long were you in there? I saw an ad for this on TV, but I figured they'd probably hold people hostage a long time before giving up the DVD. For the amount of time it would take (unless you were interested in the car), I'd just as soon wait & spend the $10 to get it used at Blockbuster.

Of course the all important question is whether you will recieve the full screen or wide screen version...

I was up there for probably 20 minutes. I told the salesman plain & simple "I am not here to buy, just test drive, explore my options & I do not want to deal.". Say that to a salesman & you will be fine. And that was one thing that I realized after coming home. I won't know if it will be full or wide. If it is full I will either give it away as a Christmas gift or do the ol Walmart exchange for credit & get the Widescreen.

When they did this for Lord of the Rings : The Fellowship of the Ring, the copy sent was Fullscreen. A quick stop at Borders 'It was a gift...' and I was off with the Right Version.

Oh, and the people at Borders thought it was horrible that someone would give Full Screen anything as a gift.

I have recieved my copy of my free Shrek 2 from this promotion & I am happy to say that it is the WIDESCREEN version. My only question is. Is the movie a 1 disc or 2 disc set in stores because I didn't open mine yet.
