If you live in Northern Virginia and want to pick it up (Alexandria, VA), I have a fully operable DVL-919 Laserdisc Player (plus box, remote, manuals) I'm giving away. It is a rare USA multi-voltage unit (110-240V, 50-60Hz). I've sold my laserdisc collection and have used it primarily for DVDs.
Recently, on some DVDs, it produces subtitles which cannot be turned off. Other times it operates fine. It has always played laserdiscs perfectly...externally it looks new.
I'm now moving to Blu-ray and must make space on my shelf. Because of the subtitle issue, I don't want to sell it and have a disgruntled buyer.
First person who can come get it, gets it. No requests for shipping please. Thanks.
