Thanks Dee! Great article and I enjoyed your post as well.

I definitely have "brand loyalty" with Warners to the extent that I will blind buy a classic film DVD from them simply because I know that even if I don't end up liking the film (rare) I know I'll at least get a first rate presentation and enjoyable extras.

Warners is the first such studio that has inspired this loyalty from me.

Yes, indeed. George Feltenstein is my current hero (along with Robert Harris) and I have told him so in a personal email.

I like the old movies best, so the DVD revolution has really been inspiring to me. I have 2000 DVDs! mostly old movies, mostly from Warners.

Thanks for the link, Dee. That was a great article and a great blog post! Kudos to both of you.

And I agree about Warners: I am actually PROUD to give them my money because I know I'm going to get a very high quality product. I'm really looking forward to the Doris Day and Controversial Films box sets.

Interesting snippet in a sidebar from that link:

...and a series of Fred Astaire-Ginger Rogers films (five later this year, five next year)

    Woo, and indeed, hoo...
