Freaks and Geeks Limited Edition DVD errors? (1 Viewer)

Has anyone else experienced problems with the Freaks and Geeks Limited Edition DVD set?

I've now had three different copies sent from Sony, and all three have problems with the same two episodes on the first two DVDs. I've tried playing them in several different players, but the problem is exactly the same in all of them and with the different copies as well. The episodes freeze up after a while, making one of them unwatchable and the other somewhat unwatchable.

Does anyone actually have a set that plays perfectly?

Never had a problem with my set.

I suspect that the problem might be with the later prints, since I bought mine quite a while after the set was released and probably the replacement sets have all been from a later run too.

Maybe it's player related?

I initlally thought so too, but since it fails in the exact same place in three different players, I doubt that it could be player related.
