My HT construction begins next week and I am preparing to purchase my projector. I've decided on the Sanyo PLV-60HT but am still unsure of the setup. Should I hire someone to do this or is it a pretty simple job? My only experience with projectors is our portable unit at work!

Depends on how "handy" you are- and how extensive a setup you're planning. If you're doing the construction yourself, I don't think you'll have any problems with the setup of a projector.
If you're just talking about doing a screen and figuring out throw angles- you should be fine. If you're getting into wanting to hushbox it, or do motorized mattes or curtains- then unless you've got a "Hometime" streak in your blood, it might be best to consult a pro.
That said, I'd come up to Michigan and help you out for a couple hundred buck and dinner [IMG]
