I'm not giving up on these two TODD-AO films that you own Fox. A 2015 release of one of these would be most welcome.---DOCTOR DOLITTLE----STAR!
As previously mentioned, DOCTOR DOLITTLE is already on bluray in some countries.

Yes, but I think it's been established that that release was not taken from Todd-AO elements and thus does not look as stunning as it could.

There is one movie from 20th Century Fox that I am still waiting for and since I believe the HD transfer is yet to be done. I am hoping for a brand new 4K transfer for bluray disc and the new upcoming 4K UHD bluray! Otherwise there are some 20th Century titles I would buy over again and new releases I would buy in 4K. I only have a 55" 4K display for now but the goal is to have a 4K projector with a min of a 120" screen!

A handful of my most wanted in blu-ray:
The Story of Ruth
Francis of Assisi
Boy on a Dolphin
Beneath the 12 Mile Reef
Captain From Castile
Mark of Zorro
The Sun Also Rises
Sodom and Gomorrah (Hopefully there are better elements overseas)
David and Bathsheba (The Danish one could be improved upon)
If the Germans or French do them, I'll be equally joyful. Have given up on TT and Fox USA for these, however.

Does Fox not consider FLIGHT OF THE PHOENIX worth upgrading? If not, then they're completely out of the catalog game in my book.
Yet they felt it necessary/wise to spend $45 million on the crappy 2004 remake...and lost a bundle on it. Go figure....

If released, would Doctor Dolittle be the original 5-hour version? At least that's how long it seemed, last time I saw it.
Despite its flaws, I wouldn't mind 'Star'. I thought young Daniel Massey essayed the young Noel Coward rather well.

If Fox does release "Doctor Dolittle" I'd hope that the missing musical numbers would be included as bonuses, but the last I heard was that they are no longer in the Fox vault.

Often, so called missing musical numbers are used in other musical films.

But how would that even work? Anthony Newley and Rex Harrison performed several additional numbers in "Dolittle" which were cut prior to the official release. How would those work if dropped into a separate film?

On numerous occasions songs that have been specifically written for a musical film/stage show then dropped, often show up in other later musicals but have the cast of the new film/stage show, singing them

Ridley Scott's underrated imo A GOOD YEAR plus already mentioned HOW TO STEAL A MILLION and TWO FOR THE ROAD
I'm not at all a Ridley Scott fan, but I do rather like A Good Year. I've seen it on TV in HD, but it didn't look that great, so I'm not convinced that it was the real thing. How To Steal A Million has been on TV in HD, & that did look great.

Just saw the screening of the 1961 movie The Innocents from 20th Century Fox a movie I have never seen before. This was recently digitally restored in 4K and it looked great IMHO! After seeing this classic movie I am ready to put it on my must have list and am thinking if 20th Century Fox releases this on 4K bluray that I may just go ahead and pick it up over the 1080p Criterion/20th Century bluray that was recently released. So again if Fox makes this one of the 1st groups of 4K movies I would love to own this title in UHD.
