Fox - PCU: "1st Half of 2001"? (1 Viewer)

I'm chiming in to remind all the friendly folks at Fox that PCU (1994, Jeremy Piven) was slated for release in the first half of 2001, at least from what I gather from the Fox chat. Could someone let us know the status of this movie coming to DVD?

John, I think you and I might be the only people really looking forward to PCU.

I get the feeling that it has been pushed back until 2002, although I have nothing to back that up.
Let's hope it finds its way under my Christmas tree.

Hi Mike,
I recall a thread about a year back about this very subject and several peple were chiming in. Perhaps this section isn't read as much anymore. Anyhow, I'd certainly hope Fox is trying to keep to their schedule. I believe Revenge of the Nerds was slated for the same (approximate) release date
and it's already out.
Could we get some sort of information on this please?

If I remember right, Peter said it would be out by Thanksgiving or X-mas.
I too want this movie on DVD.

How recently did he say this? The reason I ask is, from the latest (7/31/01) chat here's the only reference I could find to PCU:

Then, looking up the title at a "major e-commerce website", it states that:

Before our transfer over to the new site, somebody started a thread on P.C.U.
Peter Replied you will see it before X-mas.
Now, things may have changed, but those are the words I remembered him saying
