300 spartans, only saw it once (on a very well used VHS tape). I remember liking it, will have to watch it again to be sure [IMG]

Still no Silver Streak, though ... [IMG]

EDIT: I may be crazy, but I don't think the thread title said anything about John Wayne, Paul Newman, and Robert Redford when I posted this originally. However, in honor of the new thread title, allow me to add:

Still no Sting SE, though ... [IMG]

That's great news! Also, I might get Brubaker, all depends on what else is coming out that month. And 15 bucks retail, that's great!!

For those who like heist films, I highly recommend The Hot Rock, a very enjoyable film & the title I'm most looking forward to from this list. I'm also very excited to see The Paper Chase and Flight of the Phoenix. Thanks Fox!

Brubaker and The Paper Chase! Wow, two *VERY* hi-quality films, indeed. Must-haves on street date!

    Thank you, Fox!! [IMG]

Oooh! Some great titles there. Anamorphic widescreen, right?

Still no How to Steal a Million, though... [IMG] I live in hope. [IMG]

Yes indeed, where IS How to Steal a Million?

I wonder if they'll ever release The Paper Chase TV series on DVD? Pretty good show, if I recall.

Still waiting for What a Way to Go!--tantalizingly previewed (a short scene) in Fox's The Planet of the Apes documentary, of all things.

Count me in for The Long Hot Summer, From The Terrace, Flight Of The Phoenix and 300 Spartans immediately! I might get Brubaker down the line but will definitely skip Hot Rock and Paper Chase.

There was a thread on 300 Spartans where I surmised it would not see the light of day anytime soon. I couldn't be more happy to have been wrong.

From the Terrace is one of my favorite films. I know several years ago Fox did restoratioin work on this film.
This shoudl be interesting. The laser was done before the rewtoration and it looked terrible. Can't wait to see what the dVD looks like. The laser sounded great. Holding my breath on that part of the DVD.
