Fox seems to be focusing its DVD efforts on recent titles. But where are the pre-50s films? More specifically, where are the truly significant titles that are generally regarded as classics?... The Grapes of Wrath, My Darling Clementine, and The Ox-Bow Incident.
I realize these titles must require more effort to release. If Fox doesn't want to allocate resources for these titles, why not sell Criterion Collection the distribution rights for a limited period? These priceless properties would be in good hands while still providing some revenue to your company. It would also give a new generation of film lovers a chance to enjoy these films.
Thanks for listening.
