It needs more than just a restoration. The biggest problem with The Robe is the massive amount of grain. It makes the current DVD almost unwatchable. If you look at the "extras" on Paramount's DVD of Roman Holiday, and look how they have improved the picture by removing grain, you'll get an idea of what could be done with The Robe.

Laureatedvd.com ( anotherserver.co.uk/laureatedvd/index ) states that Violent Saturday will be issued on DVD in 2007. Keep your fingers crossed.

I had a listener call me wondering if Lure of the Wilderness was available anywhere. Is there any word about it?

I noticed Swamp Water got a R2 release. But now it appears to be oop. Oh, there's a R4 release listed on ebay. $22! Ouch.
