I really like this film, probably my favorite take on the Jake the Ripper legend (and I've seen a fair share of 'em).

Since Fox is sticking to their high prices this better be up to snuff as far as PQ or I'll stick with my SD.

They better be pulling it to add some additional features to justify that price... The SE version of the SD DVD already had quite a bit of interesting stuff on it.

"From Hell" was finally released this week. Anyone has it, and how is the quality? There are not much extras compared to the 2-disc SD version, are there?

Got mine yesterday from Amazon, couldn't find it in any local store. PQ is a step up from the SD version, audio about the same as the SD, which had an excellent DTS 6.1 track. Lacks all of the extras on disc 2 of the SD version.

What pisses me off is that it's missing the fantastic Jack the Ripper documentary that was on the 2-disc limited edition.
