I've noticed that many distributors have scheduled their various Christmas movies for release in October/November. The musical version of "Scrooge" with Albert Finney is a family tradition around our house. I'm on my second VHS tape (which interestingly says it's also a Paramount "Family Favorite") Originally it was a CBS/Fox release. Would you see what you can do to get it released on DVD, please.

    Benn,
In the future, please, don't use the name of studio representatives in the thread title. Thank you.

If SCROOGE is to come to DVD, it will be through Paramount.
CBS and Paramount are now part of the same family, both being owned by Viacom. Paramout is now distributing the CBS-produced films, of which SCROOGE was one, having been a product of their short-lived Cinema Center Films venture. Hence the inquiry should go to Paramount's people as Fox would no longer have any rights to this title.
