Fox Centerfold Special

Call me crazy, but Fox just rules. There stunts are constant sources of amusement. No, I usually do not watch these specials, but the fact that they exist is just great- and then everyone copies them. It's hilarious!
As a Playboy subscriber and one who appreciates the female form, I most certainly shall watch.

 

Well, there isn't going to be any nudity, so I don't see how this is worse than for example ABC's "The bachelor" or Fox's own "Temptation island" as far as moral content (of course, that isn't setting the bar very high).

Is this any different then when NBC had the Playmates edition of Fear Factor during the halftime show of the Super Bowl, and then right after the Super Bowl? Heh.

 

The argument is that putting beautiful on display objectifies women. My counter argument is that it only objectifies beautiful women. I bet the activists have nothing to worry about. OK, I'm bad.
Everyone who watches, please report back on how you subsequently found yourself entrenched in hardcore pornography. Perhaps we can run an informal survey...

Oh, yeah, I also wanted to say that the Britney Spears's of the season are a far worse influence on 13 year old girls than this show will ever be.

These critics are probably the same ones who would paint fig leaves on Botticelli's Birth of Venus.

 

It is a hoot to see Fox doing this. What also is amusing, in an interesting-what-are-they-thinking wayis the people that deride Fox for making such shows but turn a blind eye to what other networks do. As if they have something personal against the Fox Network. Odd.

 

If you really think Hugh Heffner and Sandro Botticelli have anything in common, I really have to wonder about the education system of this country.
