Someone asked what I do when I surf the internet, and I replied, before giving it much thought, "I forum here and there, all over." Thus, I created the use of "forum" as a verb. I'm so proud of myself.

How would you conjugate "forum" as a verb?

Forums ("Oh, he forums all day long."), Forumming ("I'm forumming even as I type."), Forummed ("I've forummed enough for now.")
They work great as gerunds, too! ("Nothing beats forumming on HTF, eh?")

Don't be surprised if you haven't started something here. If members here start using it as a verb in their real lives, it will slowly spread, kind of like the Blob, and it will slip into common language, then eventually Websters with a footnote tracing the roots of the word to your post here. Someone had to use "spam" a first time.

I think we need t-shirts that say "Do you forum?" maybe to use as icebreakers.

Well how would you do ALL of the conjugations of "forum" as a verb? You need the I, you, he, she, we, and they forms. You would need the future and some other forms, but adding in a word (like "will" in "will forum") can create those forms...

We could treat it like many verbs that really don't change much:

I forum, you forum, we all forum. He/she forums, they forum.

    Past: forummed
    future: will forum

I can actually remember when party wasn't a verb.

I think it should be forumning and forumned. Still pronounced for-um-ing and for-um-d
