    For all of you Star Trek fanciers, I'm attaching a link to the history of ships with the name Enterprise.

    There are certainly more listed here than I had heard of before. There's a scene in Star Trek: The Motion Picture that showed some of these, but certainly not all of them.

    That list leaves out an important item: OV-101 Enterprise

    Enterprise was used as a test bed for the Shuttle program and although it was never intended to be used operationaly it could in theory be upgraded to be used in space.
