Stargate SG-1 will begin September 30th at least 4 nights a week on Sci-Fi. Season 5 is not available for syndication airing until next year, after it's had its broadcast syndication run

Are they starting with Season 1 and running in order? This would be a great chance to catch up if so.

Jeff, when are you going to learn the definition of syndication?

SG-1 will begin its "third run" on that date. Its "1½-run" is what's syndicated, and already is.

The 1 1/2 run is often referred to, even in magazines like Variety and Hollywood reporter as "broadcast syndication of cable shows"

Yes, they are doing it in order, no promises on cuts, but it shouldn't be more than a minute a show

Right, because it is actually syndicated - sold market-by-market to different stations.

What will be running on Sci-Fi channel starting September 30th is not syndication.

The first episode should definately have some editing, as that one featured some nudity.

Danny, the first episode has never been shown outside of Showtime and video with the nudity

Frankly, I agree with the producers it was unnecessary

Unnecessary yes, but very entertaining. [IMG]

So what is it that's supposed to start on sept. 30th?

Syndication or not, when do they start re-broadcasting from the very beginning? Or did it start already?

Sci-Fi will re-run the series (assumedly from the beginning, in order) daily starting September 30th.

    Well, mostly daily. 4-5 times/week (probably 8pm M-Th).

OK, I should amend that to "Never been shown in the US"
Canada isn't quite as uptight as we are, after all, you were showing condom ads for years, and they just started here a few years ago, and then only late at night

Will Sci-Fi be showing the reruns in letterbox?
