Useing the DTS ES mode with a 7 speaker setup, do you get sound from just one of the rear wall speakers or from both rear speakers? I’m trying to decide between this receiver and the H/K 520.

One more question.:b When your in PL2 and have it setup for 7 channel, does it use all 7 or just 5?

The surround back channels are active when in PL II mode.

In DPL2, the 2 rear surrounds can be active but they are not matrixed - they put out the same signal as the side surrounds.
