I have for sale the Atlantic Technology 250.1 timbre matched (5) speaker satellite system along with an M&K V-125 powered subwoofer. The price for the complete setup is $500.00 and the buyer pays all shipping unless the buyer is a reasonable distance from New York City then I would be willing to deliver. I prefer Paypal for payment although I would consider other payment options. The setup has seen very little use since having our son and is in absolutely LIKE NEW condition, perfect functionally and cosmetically. The (5) speaker set comes packaged in all the original packing and cartons and features the factory stands for the front left/right speakers. The front left/right and center channel speakers are of the D'Appolito (woofer/tweeter/woofer) design and the surrounds are dipolar in nature. This really is a teriffic sounding system particularly for reproducing movie soundtracks as the Atlantic Tech speakers exhibit their warm and very neutral sound with the very slightest rolloff in the uppermost treble frequencies which by design allows for listening for extended periods without the tiring, fatiguing and grating sound which many speakers exhibit. This is part of the magic of Atlantic Tech speakers along with the fact that they have been designing nothing but totally matched surround sound speaker systems longer than anybody else around. The fact is Atlantic Tech really knows how to to do home theater, that is why I upgraded to their 270 THX system along with dual SVS subs and need the cash. Ask anyone about their Atlantic Tech system and you will see... VERY neutral, VERY pleasing. The sound with music is also excellent. The M&K V-125 subwoofer is of a 12" sealed design and is powered by an internal 125 watt amp featuring variable phase, crossover, output and line level and speaker level inputs. This sub exhibits a very tight and musical sound and is of a VERY high professional build quality and was rated #1 in it's class. Below I have provided some links so you may get an idea of the characteristics that these speakers posess and I would be glad to fax serious buyers a review of the Atlantic Tech's by Home Theater Magazine.

As a note... the system pictured on the centurystereo.com link above is actually a picture of the earlier 250 system.
I just wanted to give a general picture of the sizes of the speakers themselves remembering that also my sub is the M&K not the Atlantic Tech sub. The newer 250.1 system I am selling has been TOTALLY redesigned with new polypropolene woofers, new crossovers, 50% denser cabinets, variable timbre and boundary compensation controls on the center channel and the dipolar surrounds have (4) speakers instead of (3). The happymedium.com link above really has the lowdown on all the 250.1 specs and I just realized that if you click on the 250.1 bold header at the beginning of the specs there is an actual photo of the 5 speaker satellite setup , check it out.
Go to http://www.atlantictechnology.com and look up their 270 system, the 250.1 system exhibits the same general characteristics as the 270 system although on a somewhat less grand scale and is the direct predecessor to the 270 system. If you go to the 270 system specs on the atlantictechnology.com site you can click on reviews to also get an idea of the overall Atlantic Tech sound characteristics.
M&K V-125 subwoofer:

This really is a truly great performing system particularly considering the price and like new condition. This setup sounds terrific even in medium sized rooms and is rated to 150 watts rms. This setup is hard to beat, you would not be dissappointed!
