well, I sold the R1 with the intentions of not getting another cycle, then I was looking at triumph speed triples, then italian twins.. and I ran across a black aprilia falco for sale.. and bought the damn thing [IMG]

Man, am I jealous! That is one damn fine bike. I've been bouncing off the walls waiting to ride my GS500 (it's just finally starting to warm up enough up here). Have fun and ride safe.

you can get RS250's here! not in street legal trim, but you see the occasional street legal RS250 on ebay [IMG]
can't afford a duc [IMG] we'll see how the new motor does at the track, personally I'd like to see an aprilia v twin stomp its ass into next week but that's just me [IMG]
come to think of it I think the new aprilia GP bike is actually a triple.. regardless [IMG]

    Phillip, nice ride!
I made the mistake of going to LOOK at bikes the previous saturday and fell in love with the new 02 R1's. Looking didn't last long and buying quickly followed [IMG]
Have about 140 miles on her so far and I love it. My ZRX needed a new stablemate

I stopped by the Kawasaki dealer theother day to get some oil. They had a brand new ZZR1200 in the showroom there...... It was covered with drool by the time I was done checking it out.

aww man my insurance agent scared me. I went in to check prices to insure the new baby, and she said 250 a year, since I'm paying almost 1200 on the r1 I almost shit my pants right there, so she said "oh lemme double check it!" then she says she forgot to check the box for under 25, BAM instantly back up to 1200 [IMG]

Insurance is crazy like that. I pay less a year for my 02 R1 then I do for my 00 ZRX1100.

Insurance premiums are why I finally sold my CBR900RR--owning a sportbike in Southern California can be hard on the checking account.

Ouch on the insurance. You pay the insurance AND donate a few organs! Oh wait, is organ donation mandatory when you own a bike? I hear so many "donorcycle" jokes I'm not sure if it is true that you must agree to donate an organ if you "snuff it" on your bike.
Of course, it would not be cool if they wanted the organ in advance. [IMG]
