I thought I might have a go at etching my own logos to build lightboxes featuring the various cinema plaques for my home. Does anybody know the fonts used in the various logos?

DTS: I found a thread which mentioned Dolem as the 'dts' font and Optima as the 'digital surround' font. But what about the "This theatre features"? I can't find a big enough picture to confirm if this is also Optima, or even to find one that closely matches it.

Dolby Digital: any ideas on the 'sound system installed in this home theatre' font?

THX: 'the audience is listening' font?

Thanks in advance for any ideas!

(edit: Typos! should be "Cinema", not "Ciname", erk!)

been over here 7 years now, just about an honorary yank now
Miami is about as far away from Hobart as you can get in almost every sense.
I went back to Hobart last year for a month, it still feels like home.
sort of like peter allen said [IMG]

I have official EPS (vector) artwork for the DTS and THX logos (no writing top and bottom, just the logos themselves).

Let me know if you would like me to email them to you.

    Cheers,

    Derek

Derek: Thanks, but I've already found vector graphics of the assorted logos (including the SDDS logo - maybe my theatre will feature that as well!)

Ben: Don't hold your breath waiting, as it'll probably take a while before I get everything sorted out to do it, and then I reckon it'll take a few goes before I get it right. But I'll keep you posted.

    (p.s.: Burnie boy here!)
